Garden Club London Ltd is an established garden and landscape design business based in Vauxhall. In this varied role you will play an integral part in the smooth running of our creative and award-winning SME as part of a close knit team.

You will be responsible for the daily operations of the office to include finance reporting, HR admin, marketing and administrative support. This role would be ideal for a meticulous self-starter with the desire to take on more creative tasks including marketing, events and industry liaison.

You will work closely with the Managing Director and Operations Manager with regards to operations and provide administrative support. The role includes PA duties and diary management for the MD. You must possess a high level of accounting theory and a functional understanding of accounting transactions/reporting. You must have an attitude of ownership and accountability whilst being able to embrace change and deal with high stress situations in a calm and constructive manner.



You will coordinate all new hire orientation and onboarding including creating and maintaining all employee files. You will take charge of recruitment by posting positions and working with the hiring manager and recruiter(s) through the lifecycle of the process.


Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and work with people at all levels of the organisation and outside business partners. Embrace change and be open to new ways of working. Must have the energy to shift gears quickly to meet sudden, high-priority requests from management and handle multiple tasks along with day-to-day activities.


You will support marketing objectives including budgeting, building relationships with press, helping to run social media accounts and seeking new business development opportunities.

Previous Accounting, Human Resources, and Payroll experience is a plus. Advanced skills in Word, Excel and accounting/bookkeeping software. High level of confidentiality and attention to detail. Strong analytical, management, and organizational skills combined with excellent business judgment. Strong initiative with ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. You must speak fluent English.
